It’s that time of year again; time to start planning and baking holiday treats. Already this year I’ve received requests for Halloween cupcakes and cookies for my friends birthday party. I have to confess, I enjoyed every second of it!

I love this time of year, because I can fully indulge my true passion - baking! It’s also the time when I make full use of my kitchen bakeware. After Halloween comes “turkey time”. I bring out my loaf and cake pans for the traditional Thanksgiving breads and cakes. This year I may even break out the pie pans and take a shot at baking pumpkin pie. For Christmas, it’s all about Christmas cookies, cakes, breads, tortes and custards. I feel my waistline expanding already.
